“Mukhang papunta na sa mga mature na roles si Kim Chiu. Nakita mo ba lately mga sεxy pictorial niya, di ba hindi na pa tweetum tulad ng dati, may konti ng pasilip sa skin na bagay naman sa kanya,” Nay Lolit said.
The veteran columnist also said she didn’t expect Kim to have that kind of appeal as she looked like a baby in the past.
“Hindi ko nga akalain ang lakas ng sεx appeal ni Kim Chiu dahil mukhang pa baby siya nuon una. Ngayon sa mga lumalabas na photo, puwede ng ipakita ang kanyang sεx appeal para sa mas mature na roles,” the columnist added.
Manay Lolit also praised Kim for being a good actress, pointing out her facial expression and body language.
“Mahusay na artista si Kim dahil sa mga napanuod ko sa TV na portrayal niya, maganda ang facial expression niya at body language,” she said.
The veteran columnist then said that it’s time for Kim “to grow as an artist,” so her handlers should give her the exposure she deserves.
“Time for Kim Chiu to grow as an artist kaya dapat lang mabigyan siya ng exposure na mas babagay sa kanya. Kahit walang loveteam, kaya niya iyan,” Manay Lolit said.
Kim Chiu, or Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu in real life, is one of the most well-known and prominent female showbiz personalities in the Philippines. The actress broke through in showbiz by joining Pinoy Big Brother. She is known as "Chinita Princess" in the entertainment industry. She was dubbed the "Princess of Philippine Movies and Television". She is in a relationship with actor Xian Lim.
Recently, Kim took to Instagram and shared a message that her cousin sent her. Her cousin was asking for a copy of her speech because it was really powerful. As per the cousin, she knew of someone who was neutral, but changed her position and would go for VP Leni Robredo after she heard Kim's speech. What Kim was saying on stage was very beautiful.
She also posted a birthday greeting for Vice President Leni Robredo. In a tweet, Kim uploaded some of her emotional snapshots with VP Leni, who just marked her 57th birthday today. Along with the photos, the 32-year-old actress penned her heartfelt birthday message to the presidential aspirant. Kim likewise wrote “#PasayIsPink,” one of the hashtags associated with the NCR grand birthday rally of VP Leni.
