On YouTube, Tatay Elon released a 9-minute vlog where he and his wife, Nanay Venus, talked about what happened during Rob's birthday party.
According to Tatay Elon, there was no malice at all when he put an arm around Toni when her song, Fake Friends, played in the club.
In the video, he recalled that he told Toni how proud he was of her, remembering how they had no money back in the day.
"Kasi noon, nung kami pa ni Toni, isang kahig isang tuka kami. Walang wala talaga kami, walang wala talaga eh. Nung time na pinatugtog na yung Fake Friends, yung kanta ni Mommy, sa gimikan sa Timog sa G-Side. Sobra akong na-proud, kaya lumapit ako sa kanya, inakbayan ko siya tas bumubulong ako sa kanya. Nag-uusap lang kami na sabi ko sa kanya, 'Proud na proud ako sayo na biruin mo yung isang kanta mo, andito sa G-Side. Nakaka-proud.' Yun lang, ganun lang kasimple yun."
