Cristy Fermin discussed on her program, Cristy Ferminute, the rumors that Regine Velasquez will permanently replace Karla Estrada—who is now running for a partylist seat—as Magandang Buhay host.

In the radio show’s episode today, Nanay Cristy said there are comments saying that Regine made “sulot” of Karla’s job.

“'Wag naman po natin sabihin na sinulot ni Regine,” Cristy said.

“Ipagpalagay nang sinulot, 'yung nanulot po ba hindi karapat-dapat at 'yung sinulutan ba ng trabaho mas matidi ba 'yon kaysa kay Regine?” she furthermore aired.

"Siguro, Nay, ang tamang term diyan ay 'pinalitan' na lang. 'Pag sinulot kasi parang ongoing pa e ineksenahan mo na," Romel Chika reacted.

“Saka may karapatan si Regine na mapwesto diyan. Napakagaling at sabi ko nga, may titulo. Hindi naman siyang magigi ganyang kalaki kung hindi siya pinagkakatiwalaan at gusto ng ating mga kababayan,” Cristy added.

Regine Velasquez is a famous singer, host, and actress in the Philippines. She is dubbed the Asia’s Songbird because of her outstanding vocal range. She is married to singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid.
