Ruffa Gutierrez opened up to KAMI about her eldest daughter, Lorin. According to Ruffa, Lorin is now a college student at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

She admitted that it is difficult to be away from her daughter because she misses her a lot.
However, she appreciates that Lorin has been learning to be more independent ever since she started college.
Ruffa is also hoping that Lorin’s plan to take up pre-law will come to fruition.

“My eldest, Lorin, is in college studying at Pepperdine University.
“Mahirap na malayo sa akin ang anak ko but I know that being independent will be good for her kasi here in the Philippines, everything is given to her on a silver platter.
“Now she’s thinking of taking up pre-law. Sana matuloy,” Ruffa told KAMI.
Ruffa Gutierrez is a model, beauty queen, host and actress in the Philippines. The star is also a judge on the ABS-CBN program "It's Showtime." She has two daughters with her former husband Yilmaz Bektas – Lorin and Venice Gutierrez. Ruffa and Yilmaz’s legal separation happened in 2012. She recently confirmed that she is in a relationship with former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.
In a previous report by KAMI, Ruffa said in an interview with Toni Gonzaga that she does not need a man to complete her life. She shared that she is contented with her life now with her daughters, pets, showbiz career, family and friends.
Her family also went viral due to her daughter Venice’s 16th birthday celebration. Aside from sharing glimpses of the party, Ruffa also wrote a heartwarming message for her daughter. Even if Ruffa Gutierrez is single, she seems to be having the time of her life with the blessings she has now.
