Barbie Imperial has revealed the current state of her relationship with actor Diego Loyzaga.

Previously, Diego suddenly flew to the US while Barbie remained in the Philippines, giving rise to rumors that the two may have called it quits.
After some time, the actress confirmed the rumors that she and Diego have indeed parted ways.
Recently, however, the two were seen together several days after the actor returned to the country from the US.

This fuelled speculations that the two might have patched things up, reconciled, and are a romantic couple once more.
During her guest appearance in Magandang Buhay, Barbie clarified her present relationship with Diego.
“Okay po kasi kami, hindi kami magkaaway. Pero hindi naman po kami nagbalikan. Friends lang, friends,” Barbie explained.
The show’s co-host, Melai Cantiveros, commended such, saying it’s nice that after the break up, the two went back to being friends.
“Ang ganda no, parang nagbalik agad yung kanilang friendship,” Melai commented.
Another co-host of the show, Regine Velasquez, then asked Barbie if she still loved Diego.
“Pero hindi mo na siya mahal?” Regine asked, following it up with “Ay sorry, sorry,” when she realized such question should never be asked to the smiling Barbie.
Melai, for her part, said that they’re very happy the two are in good terms and that at the end of the day, it’s better to remain good friends.

As for the actor, he has put an end to speculations that he and Barbie Imperial may have gotten back together. Diego said that he and Barbie have been together for quite a long time and it is quite impossible for them not to be friends. Respect is still there, Diego clearly emphasized. The actor then revealed in Pika Pika's report that one of his dreams is to make it in Hollywood, and it is something that is still in his bucket list.
