It is worth noting that Ogie and Kris were reunited after the latter attended the Tarlac rally for the Leni-Kiko tandem. During the said vlog, Loi revealed that he has been receiving questions about Kris' health condition. This prompted Ogie to share how the 'Queen of All Media' actually looked very thin in person.
Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin played a big role in the entry of Ogie Diaz into the showbiz industry. In an interview with Mama Loi, the co-host of Ogie in Showbiz Updates, Manay Cristy narrated the events that helped open many opportunities for Ogie in the entertainment world. She revealed that she was of the opinion at first that the talent manager only wanted a job, but realized later that what he really wanted was a career in writing. At the time, Ogie received a salary of twenty pesos daily but on special occasions like Christmas, he would receive fifty pesos.
