The veteran showbiz columnist indicated there are better and more important things in this world that needs attention, like the skirmish between Russia and Ukraine.
“Habang pinapanuod ko ang news tungkol sa Ukraine Salve, parang nagkaruon ako ng feeling of guilt na inaaksaya ko ang oras ko sa isang Bea Alonzo lamang,” Manay Lolit said.
She pointed out the bravery and love of Ukranians for their homeland, and their president, Volodymyr Zelensky, for his courage and wisdom.

“Nakita ko ang tapang at pagmamahal ng mga Ukranians sa kanilang bayan, ayaw nila pasakop sa ibang gobyerno, gusto nila iyon kanila lang. Hahangaan mo si Zelensky sa tapang at wisdom nito na walang takot sa Russia,” she said.
The veteran showbiz columnist then called attention again to the many problems that confronts the world at the moment.
“Ang daming problema, ang daming dapat pag isipan, ang dami dapat ang bigyan ng pansin,” the veteran columnist said.
She also berated herself for allowing Bea to distract her focus on more important things.
“Gaga talaga ako na distracted sa issue ng isang Bea Alonzo lang na wala naman maibibigay na solusyon sa mga nagaganap sa paligid dahil abala sa pag cancel ng mga tao na ayaw niya,” Manay Lolit said.
The showbiz columnist then said that perhaps it would be better for Bea to also watch the news and not only her movies that might sometimes give her an illusion of grandeur.
“Dapat siguro manuod din ng news si Bea at hindi mga lumang movies niya ang pinapanuod kaya nagkakaruon ng illusion of grandeur kung minsan. Watch mo naman CNN o BBC Bea Alonzo, huwag old movies mo lang,” Manay Lolit said.
Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.
In a previous IG post, Manay Lolit discussed about Bea in her lengthy commentary. She penned her frank opinion on some remarks she heard saying that Ai-Ai delas Alas and Pokwang’s roles also fit to Bea. The showbiz columnist then expressed that Bea looks lovely and young for her age. Manay Lolit also mentioned some roles that she thinks would fit to the 34-year-old actress.
The veteran columnist also took to Instagram and said that Bea is now ready and fit to play a mother role. The veteran columnist said that she is a very good actress so she can really achieve a grand-slam if her role is that of a martyr mother. She also said that she is very sure that the products that Beautederm launched for Bea were those for seniors who still want to remain young and beautiful. Manay Lolit also commended the owner of Beautederm because she chose Bea to represent the near seniors who still want to stay young.
