During the rally, Donny was introduced by his father, Anthony Pangilinan, who is the younger brother of Sen. Kiko Pangilinan.

Donny sang for the crowd, and everyone was obviously almost delighted with his performance.
Earlier, Donny took to Instagram and narrated from his own experience how much his uncle truly has the heart for fishermen and farmers.
"Tito Kiko was my first ever employer too. One summer, I think I was around 13 or 14, Tito texted me and some of my cousins asking if we wanted to work as farmers in his farm so that we could experience a fraction of the hard work that farmers go through on a daily basis. He himself arranged everything to have all of us picked up, to stay over at his place for 4 days, be be woken up really early & to learn from the farmers what it meant to work—exhausted, hungry and sweaty."
Donny Pangilinan is one of Maricel Laxa and Anthony Pangilinan's five children. In addition to performing, the actor enjoys music and sports. He used to be a VJ for the MYX music channel in the Philippines.
