Rey ‘PJ’ Abellana’s guesting on Cristy Fermin’s radio program, Cristy Ferminute, became viral.
During his guesting got the chance to ask the veteran actor about his daughter Carla Abellana’s supposed marital issue with Tom Rodriguez.

Rey then revealed that Carla allegedly messaged him that she and Tom are currently "not okay". Rey also claimed that Tom admitted to him about having a one-night stand.
In an interview with Aubrey Carampel for 24 Oras' “Chika Minute” segment, Rey then clarified that there is not truth to Tom’s one-night stand issue.
Rey also shared that after his guesting on Cristy Ferminute, the Kapuso actress messaged him.
“She (Carla) was mad, she was questioning me why I came up that way,” Rey revealed.
“Of course, I explained it to her right away and after my explanation, explaining my side, hindi na naman din siya nag-message na uli,” he added.
Carla Abellana is an actress and endorser who works for GMA. She is now married to fellow Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez. Before entering showbiz, she graduated with honors at De La Salle University with a degree in psychology. She gained prominence for playing the lead role in the Philippine adaptation of the Mexican telenovela "Rosalinda."
Rey “PJ” Abellana, has recently broken his silence on Carla and Tom’s rumored split. During his guesting on Cristy Ferminute, Rey told Cristy Fermin that he was shocked when he learned the circulating rumor. He also revealed that he immediately texted his daughter about the issue. Carla then allegedly opened up to her father, “Tom and I now are not okay”.
Days later, Rey made some clarifications about his earlier statement that Tom Rodriguez allegedly had a one-night stand. Rey stressed that Tom’s one-night stand issue was not true. As per Rey, Tom had already made clear to Carla that there is no truth to his alleged infidelity.
