Ruru Madrid suffered an injury after a minor accident occurred while he was doing a stunt for ‘Lolong’.

He fractured his right foot and was advised to rest for weeks.
On his Instagram page, the Kapuso actor shared some photos showing his injury.
In the caption, he wrote, “I had a minor accident a couple of days ago while taping for our upcoming show… As per the doctor’s advise, this hairline fracture requires a cast and 2-4 weeks rest.”

“It’s unfortunate that we are packing up for now and resuming in about a month… Sad news.. but as a person who always tries to see the good in unfortunate situations, I guess I just need to remind myself that everything happens for a reason.”
He furthermore expressed gratitude to those who prayed for him.
“Salamat po sa lahat ng nagbigay ng panalangin, pagmamahal at suporta sakin. Mahal ko kayo.”

Ruru Madrid, born José Ezekiel Misa Madrid on December 4, 1997, is a Kapuso actor who started his showbiz career in “Protégé: The Battle For The Big Artista Break”. Some of the television series he became part of are “Encantadia”, “Alyas Robinhood”, and “TODA One I Love”. He is currently dating actress Bianca Umali.
During his Chika Minute interview, the 24-year-old actor detailed what happened when he fractured his foot during an accident happened on the set of 'Lolong'. He was rushed in the nearest hospital after the minor accident.
In a previous report by KAMI, Ruru received a rude criticism on social media. This was after the actor posted a photo of him wearing fashionable attire. One basher, however, described the Kapuso star as “wala naman laman ang utak”. The actor just shrugged the basher off by responding calmly.
