Bituin Escalante cried foul over the statements of politicians who say that the attendees of the rally of VP Leni Robredo were paid.

She aired strong statements against such politicians asking that if that would be the case, is it not that the politician considers his constituents as very low?
“Sa mga politiko na nagsasabing bayaran ang mga dumalo sa mga rally, hindi po ba napakababaw ng tingin niyo sa inyong constituents para bansagan silang mga bayaran? Hindi po ba kayo ang problema kapag yun ang nangyayari dahil hindi niyo natutugunan ang mga pangangailangan ng inyong mga constituents? Isip-isip lang po tayo," she said.
She then added, "Wala pong bayaran sa mga rally ni Leni. Pumupunta po kami dun nang kusa, para sa bayan."

The singer also captioned her post with, "Hindi kami bayaran."
VP Leni Robredo is the incumbent vice president of the Philippines. She is a human rights lawyer. Her husband was the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo. They have three daughters.
VP Leni Robredo took to Twitter and personally thanked the wife of the driver of the motorcyle who brought her to the grand rally in Cavite. Replying to the tweet of Kristine Danica Mariano, she even said sorry for having used their motorcycle, as it was brought about by such great need. She then reiterated her thanks and told Kristine to tell her husband, Sherwin, that she says thank you for bringing her safely to the venue. In response, Kristine thanked VP profusely and even said that it was an honor for them to be of service to VP.
The wife of the driver of the motorcycle, which VP Leni rode going to the Cavite grand rally took to Twitter to express her thoughts on the event. She said that her husband is still feeling "kilig" and she was also quite anxious that their motorcycle was dirty. "Nakakahiya," she mentioned, perhaps thinking had they known VP Leni will ride it, they could have cleaned it up. Nonetheless, she really thanked VP for the honor of having used their motorcycle.
