KAMI learned that Dr. Vicki asked Albert about his experience of losing his wife, Liezl Martinez, to cancer in 2015.
According to Albert, he could not sleep and eat when he found out that Liezl had cancer.
Their family then experienced financial problems due to the expensive treatment Liezl had to go through.

Aside from asking his father-in-law and friends for financial help when he ran out of funds, Albert also asked Dr. Vicki for help.
The veteran actor confirmed that Dr. Vicki financially helped him during those times. After many years of battling cancer, Liezl passed away in 2015 at the age of 47.
“There was a point wherein nahirapan na rin ako financially. It was really hard. Actually, I got in touch with you that time.
“Yeah. Umabot na sa ganun na next procedure na niya, it’s like an arm and a leg na. Ganun kalaki yung expenses. Sabi ko sige, I’d rather lose everything,” Albert told Dr. Vicki.
Dr. Vicki Belo is a famous dermatologist and television personality in the Philippines and is the founder, CEO, and Medical Director of Belo Medical Group. She is married to fellow doctor Hayden Kho and they have a child named Scarlet Snow Belo.
In a previous report by KAMI, Scarlet Snow was able to touch a lot of netizens because of her viral video. The video shows Scarlet and her yaya Anita saying their heartfelt goodbyes to each other as the latter needed to go back to her hometown.
Vicki Belo’s TikTok video also stunned a lot of netizens as it showed her dancing to the tune of “Señorita.” Many netizens commented that Vicki looked and moved like she was much younger than 64.
