This is the take of the veteran showbiz columnist in her latest post in her Instagram account.

In her post, Nay Lolit said that there is no guarantee a famous celebrity’s show would stay on a network even if such show is enjoying high ratings.

“Habang nanunuod ako ng last episode ng Tutok to Win lalo pang tumibay ang paniniwala ko na talagang walang sigurado sa anuman bagay,” Nay Lolit said in her post.

She said that the many episodes showing Willie almost overwhelmed by the huge throng of people shows how good his show is, but despite that, he was still released by his network.

“Ipinakita iyon mga episodes kung saan halos malunod sa dami ng tao si Willie .Iyon habang nanunuod ka iniisip mo, ang laking artista, nasa itaas, sikat na sikat, pero pawawalan ng network,” she further wrote in her post.

Because of this, the veteran showbiz columnist felt that it’s like a network did not feel any regret with its decision to allow a talent to go out from its fold.

“Iyon para bang walang panghihinayang na puwede ka umalis anytime, good riddance, ganuon lang, kahit gaano ka pa kasikat,” Nay Lolit opined.

She then said that it could be painful for the talent, particularly if he is on the top, adding that if they’re not enjoying good ratings, it would be understandable and perhaps less painful.

“Mas masakit pala iyon feeling na pinawawalan ka kahit nasa itaas ka. Kung nasa ibaba ka kasi parang alam mo na any moment aalisin ka dahil bawas na ang ningning mo, pero iyon nasa itaas ka pa at pawawalan ka, parang shocking para sa iyo,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.

Nay Lolit then said that “no amount of alibis” can deny the fact that even if a talent’s show enjoy good ratings, it can still be taken off air.

“No amount of saving face or alibis can cover the truth na kahit mataas ang rating o puno ng commercials, mawawala na ang programa ni Willie. At kahit sabihin pang precious jewel siya sa mga talents ng GMA7 hayun at pinawalan siya. Shocking pero tutoo,” she said.

The veteran columnist then advised talents to be aware of the truth that they could be replaced or removed anytime at the behest of the network.

“Truth na dapat harapin ng bawat talent, hindi ka puwedeng hindi palitan o alisin, ang masusunod parin ang network, ang matibay parin ang bahay, kahit sino ang nakatira puwede mawala, pero ang bahay matibay parin. GMA7 will always be GMA7, with or without Willie Revillame. And that is the truth, nothing else,” Nay Lolit.

Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.

The veteran columnist recently reacted to the ongoing controversies surrounding Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez. Previously, the Kapuso couple has been subject to 'split' rumors just months after their grand wedding. It is worth noting, however, that both Carla and Tom have kept mum about the rumors. On her Instagram account, the veteran columnist could not help but feel sad for the two.

Nay Lolit also took to Instagram and made a lengthy comment about Kris Aquino, especially since her birthday day is already drawing near. She said that she thought, Tetay would be celebrating Valentine's with a partner, only to find out that Mel is not really meant for her. According to Lolit, if one's personality is not as strong as Kris', then she would be winning over, and this must be accepted by her suitor from the very beginning. She later surmised that Kris may not be looking for a love life anymore, what's important is that she is happy on her birthday.
