Cristy Fermin recently aired her two cents on a netizen who bashed Melai Cantiveros’ daughters.

It can be recalled that the “Magandang Buhay” host made the rounds on social media after she warned the basher, presumably a fan of Francine Diaz, that she will seek the help of NBI to track them down.

In today’s episode of Cristy Ferminute, the veteran showbiz columnist has seemed to understand where Melai was coming from.

“Kasi totoo naman na kahit ano pa ang hitsura ng anak, pinakamaganda pa rin siya sa pananaw ng kanyang ina at ng kanyang ama. Pupwede nating pintasin ang malalaki na, pero hindi ang batang walang kalaban-laban. E siguro naman, ikaw man ang maging magulang nu'ng bata, magwawala ka rin, e si Melai pa. Mahal na mahal niya ang kanyang mga anak, 'di ba?”

Nanay Cristy likewise stressed that children should never be the subject of harsh criticism.

"Alam mo, Romel, sa awayan ng among stars, hindi dapat dinadamay ang mga anak," she told he co-host, Romel Chika.

"Kasi walang kalaban-laban 'yan. Pintasan mo na ang kahit sino, 'wag 'yung hindi kayang lumaban, 'yung anak, anong laban ng bata, 'di ba? Ba't pati hitsura ng anak eh papakialaman."

Melai Cantiveros is a prominent showbiz personality in the Philippines. She tied the knot with Jason Francisco on December 9, 2013, and they already have two children.

Melai recently opened up that she and the basher of her daughters have already compromised. In an Instagram post, Melai posted screenshots of her conversation with the basher. According to the “Magandang Buhay” host, the basher reached out to her after she warned of suing them. The comedienne likewise apologized to Francine Diaz after her name was dragged into the issue.

Earlier, Melai shared a fan’s post about Kristine Hermosa and Anji Salvacion. In the said post, the fan shared side-by-side photos of Kristine and Anji. The fan likewise called Anji the “younger version” of Kristine in the caption. In an Instagram story, the “Magandang Buhay” host agreed with the fan’s opinion.
