Robin Padilla shared his thoughts on a range of subjects during his interview with Karen Davila on ANC’s Headstart.

During the interview, Robin explained what he meant when he told his son-in-law Aljur Abrenica to try becoming a Muslim after he got accused of cheating on Kylie Padilla, Robin’s daughter.
The action star clarified that he was not promoting polygamy with that comment.
According to Robin, he was just telling Aljur to try Islam because it can make him a better person. Robin explained that based on his experience, his behavior improved after becoming a Muslim.

“At yung sinabi ko pa na ‘mag-Muslim ka,’ kasi ako po ine-example ko yung sarili ko. Nung nag-Muslim ako, nabago ko yung sarili ko. Wala akong sinabi diyan na polygamy.
“Kasi sa Islam, kailangan mong pakasalan,’” Robin said.

Robin Padilla is a famous action star and endorser in the Philippines. He is married to actress-host Mariel Padilla. The actor has two children with Mariel – Isabella and Gabriela. He is also the father of actress Kylie Padilla, the wife of Aljur Abrenica. Robin is running for senator in the upcoming elections.
In a previous report by KAMI, Mariel went viral for expressing her support for employees of the Kapamilya network after ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal was rejected by Congress. Robin has also made known his position, saying that he wants the network to be reformed but he does not want it to get shut down.
Her husband Robin also made the news after his sibling BB Gandanghari accused him of being a neglectful brother and a hypocrite. Robin Padilla responded to BB by expressing his love for his sibling. Netizens praised Robin for not firing back against his sibling.
