“Una, sinabi mo na hindi ka tatakbo sa pulitika. In 2020, ito po ang sinabi niyo: ‘Hindi ako politician. Hindi ako pulitiko at kailanman hindi ako magiging pulitiko.’
“Nanumpa ka pa sa libingan ng iyong ama. Ano ang nangyari at bigla kang tumakbo?” Karen asked.

Robin answered Karen by explaining that even if he becomes a senator, he would not consider himself as a politician.

According to Robin, he is running for senator as a revolutionary who wants to bring positive and lasting changes to the country.

“Number 1 ma’am, hindi ko pa rin tinitingnan ang sarili ko bilang politician. Revolutionary po ako, hindi po ako mawawala diyan kailanman.
“Pag sinabi nating revolution, pagbabago. Kapag ako po ay nalagay diyan, pagbabago ang gagawin natin,” Robin replied.

Robin Padilla is a famous action star and endorser in the Philippines. He is married to actress-host Mariel Padilla. The actor has two children with Mariel – Isabella and Gabriela. He is also the father of actress Kylie Padilla, the wife of Aljur Abrenica. Robin is running for senator in the upcoming elections.

In a previous report by KAMI, Mariel went viral for expressing her support for employees of the Kapamilya network after ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal was rejected by Congress. Robin has also made known his position, saying that he wants the network to be reformed but he does not want it to get shut down.

Her husband Robin also made the news after his sibling BB Gandanghari accused him of being a neglectful brother and a hypocrite. Robin Padilla responded to BB by expressing his love for his sibling. Netizens praised Robin for not firing back against his sibling.
