Alden Richards has one more reason to be very happy these days and that is the completion of the college education of two of his beneficiaries.

The actor, through his AR Foundation, seeks to help those deserving to achieve their dream of completing their education.

A report by Abante stated that Alden would look for scholars to help.

"I find scholars or extend help to different foundations. But I don’t tell them it’s me—I ask others for help and do it for me," Alden said according to the report.

In a report by the “Unang Balita” segment of GMA’s Unang Hirit, AR Foundation recently helped two beneficiaries finish their education.

AR Foundation has several beneficiaries or scholar under its wing.

"It's a legacy, that's how I would like to put it. It's a legacy and dadalhin na nila 'yun hanggang tumanda sila. And I'm very, very proud of these kids," Alden said as reported by GMA Network News.

The actor also announced in his Instagram account that he would be holding a benefit concert for in the name of his foundation.

This would further allow him and his foundation to help more deserving students achieve their dream, the first step of which is finishing their education.

The benefit concert with the title “Forward: Meet Richard Faulkerson, Jr., is set for January 30, 2022.

Alden Richards is a well-known Kapuso artist. He is recognized as Asia's Multimedia Star because of his work as a TV host, music artist, endorser, and award-winning actor. Alden is known for being courteous, generous, and kind-hearted, in addition to his talent and successful showbiz career.

In early January, Alden made a video call from California, where expressed his wishes for his 30th birthday. The actor, who celebrated his birthday in the US said it is his wish that the deadly COVID pandemic would once and for all be gone. He also said that he wished those who are “pasaway” would decrease in numbers, prompting co-host Jose Manalo to ask whom he was referring to, which he answered he would not mention names anymore.

It can be recalled that recently, a lady referred to by the media as “Poblacion Girl” grabbed the headlines when it was found out she violated quarantine protocols to party at a bar in Makati.

During the same video call, the actor also pledged to help some of the victims of super typhoon Odette, whose houses were damaged by the storm. The super typhoon ravaged the provinces of Cebu, Bohol, Negros Occidental and Oriental, Iloilo, Palawan, and other parts of the Visayas and Mindanao in mid-December. It left many of these areas with houses partially or totally damaged and also plunged them in total darkness, as well as making water supply very scarce.
