Alden Richards may be vacationing abroad but this did not stop him from reaching out to his Eat Bulaga co-workers to express his wishes for his birthday.

The actor is currently in California, USA, where he recently celebrated his 30th birthday.
In a video call to Eat Bulaga, Alden said it is his birthday and New Year’s wish that the deadly COVID pandemic would be gone once and for all so everyone could start enjoying again.
“Ang wish ko po ay sana mag-enjoy na tayong lahat at sana mawala na talaga ang Covid,” the actor said during the video call.

He also expressed his wish that those who are “pasaway” would decrease in numbers.
“…At mabawasan po ang mga pasaway,” he added.
This statement prompted Eat Bulaga co-host, Jose Manalo to ask whom is he referring to.
“Gaya nino?” Manalo asked, to which Alden replied: “Hindi na po tayo magbabanggit ng pangalan!”
It can be recalled that recently, a lady referred to by the media as “Poblacion Girl” grabbed the headlines when it was found out she violated quarantine protocols to attend a party at a Makati bar.
A couple of days later, she was found out to be COVID positive and managed to infect several of the people she partied with.
The Department of Justice has stated that it will file cases against the lady, the hotel where she was supposed to be quarantined, as well as some of her relatives.
Many called Poblacion Girl as among the “pasaways” that result in many people getting infected by COVID-19.
Alden Richards is a well-known Kapuso artist. He is recognized as Asia's Multimedia Star because of his work as a TV host, music artist, endorser, and award-winning actor. Alden is known for being courteous, generous, and kind-hearted, in addition to his talent and successful showbiz career.
During the same call, Alden pledged to help some of the victims of super typhoon Odette, whose houses were damaged by the storm. The super typhoon ravaged the provinces of Cebu, Bohol, Negros Occidental and Oriental, Iloilo, Palawan, and other parts of the Visayas and Mindanao in mid-December. It left many of these areas with houses partially or totally damaged and also plunged them in total darkness, as well as making water supply very scarce. The actor, who made the video call from the United States, recently celebrated his birthday there and posted on social media about his first “birthday salubong.”
