Danica Sotto shares her battle with COVID-19: "I thought side effects lang ng booster"

Danica Sotto, 38, could not help but express her gratitude to God for being "healthy and COVID free" after testing positive for the virus just two weeks ago.
On Tuesday, January 18, KAMI learned that Danica recounted her battle with COVID-19 in a lengthy post she made on Instagram.
In her viral post, Danica revealed she first thought it was just the side effects of the booster shot for the virus.

However, when she woke up with a sore throat and an aching body, she knew she had to take another test just to be sure and safe.

"I tested positive for COVID 2 weeks ago, two days after my booster shot. I thought side effects lang ng booster but when I woke up with sore throat and body aches I knew I had to take another test at yun na nga nag-positive na."
Eventually, her and Marc Pingris' kids started having the symptoms just two days after she had hers.
"The kids started having symptoms 2 days after I had mine. They had sore throat, body aches and fever. Thankfully Marc and our helpers/angels at home were spared at wala na nagkasakit pa. I’m just so glad that it’s finally over! THANK YOU LORD!"
Halfway through her post, Danica thanked her husband, Marc, for taking good care of her and the kids amid the situation.
"Thank you to our Super Dad @jeanmarc15 for taking care of us! Love you! Thank you to my family and friends who kept messaging us. Thank you so much for your prayers. Thank you to our Doctor friends at sorry sa pangungulit."

She also could not help but tease her husband, Marc, for turning emotional due to the birthday surprise he received.
