Rica Peralejo, 40, has just penned a heartwarming send-off message to her editor, Tristan Ortega, as the latter will be leaving after working with her for a year.

On Sunday, January 9, KAMI learned that the former actress posted a photo of a post-it note from her editor, thanking her for hiring him as an editor.

In her viral post, Rica expressed her honest thoughts about her editor leaving, as well as her admiration for his skills.

"My editor for a year will now leave me. He gave me his notice last December. It was such a weird feeling. I was sad but also, I understood. And I actually knew that this has to happen," she began.

According to Rica, the moment she saw Tristan "turn dust into life," she knew he was someone that would exceed her ceilings.

"When he did that tho I also knew this guy far exceeds my ceiling. One day he has to leave me in order to exercise his design to the full. I knew it as early as January 2021. He needs something more than just RPB’s vlogs. He needs to be in a place where we can now all say ohnoerwanisshaking."

Halfway through her post, Rica shared some of her realizations and went as far as to honor her editor, Tristan.

In the comment section, Tristan could not help but share how the message made him cry upon reading it.

"NAIIYAK AKO SA PA-IG POST MO. Thank you so much for trusting in my work, Ate! I will always treasure the knowledge and experience I gained from working with you!" he wrote.

In her post, she highlighted the things that made her cry, underscoring how she gets touched by the messages that she receives from her fans. The actress became emotional because many netizens thanked her for being a part of their journey in 2021.
