“To @tv5manila, would appreciate if you do not make me a target for your socmed ‘engagement’. Thank you!” part of Agot’s tweet said.
However, the singer-actress might not have wanted to let her bashers’ insults pass, and so, she also posted a tweet for them.
“Been getting a lot of comments from this post by @tv5manila. To my bashers. 1. Sana di kayo tumanda. 2. Sana mas maayos ang ichura nyo dito pag 55 na kayo. 3. Ang pagbabatikos ko ay para sa inyong kapakanan,” Agot said in a tweet.
TV5 Manila must have read the tweet of Agot as it promptly deleted the post in question.
The singer-actress then posted another tweet thanking the media outlet for their prompt action.
Maria Margarita Amada Fteha Isidro, better known to most as Agot Isidro, is a Pinay actress, singer, host, and occasional activist. She was born on July 19, 1966, to Architect Jose Isidro and Palestinian Edwarta Fteha. Agot is the fourth among six siblings. During her college days, Agot studied and graduated from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City, with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. She then pursued Fashion Buying and Merchandising in New York City’s Fashion Institute of Technology, where she finished with Latin honors. The singer and actress also completed a master’s degree in communication at the Ateneo de Manila University. Despite her academic achievements, Agot went on to pursue her passion for singing and eventually acting.
Agot Isidro slammed House Deputy Speaker and VP aspirant Rep. Lito Atienza for questioning why VP Leni is trying so hard to be counted as one of the presidential candidates. Even though VP Leni Robredo still has to announce whether or not she would run for president, Atienza seemingly went into attack mode by asking what has VP Leni done for the country. His statement did not sit well with many of VP Leni’s supporters, including Agot Isidro, who said that it was them who kept on clamoring for Robredo to run. The singer and actress then turned the tables around and asked Rep. Atienza if there was also public clamor for him to run.
She took to Twitter and said that she likes Nadine Lustre. It would seem that the feisty comment of Nadine about people who would use foul language in conversations appealed to the premier actress. Nadine also used the term "asal imburnal" to describe people who would use the words "bobo" or "tanga" in their conversations. "Love her," captioned Agot in her retweet of Philstar's quote card of Nadine.
