"Hindi naging isang mapayapang biyahe ang 2021 para sa ating lahat: nandiyan pa rin ang mga hamon na dala ng pandemya, marami sa atin ang nawalay sa pamilya, nawalan ng hanapbuhay, at naiwan ng mga minamahal sa buhay."
Despite such problems, the actor reminded the people that love does conquer all, no matter how harsh the conditions may be.
"Ngunit isa ang nanatiling totoo at nangibabaw sa ating lahat: kayang higitan ng pagmamahal natin ang mga hamon na ito. As we round out this year and welcome another one, I hope we all continue to fight despite the struggle, believe despite the doubts, and love despite the pain.
