Maxene Magalona, 35, took to social media to share the heartwarming backstory behind her cute anklet which she wore during her recent trip to Boracay.

On Wednesday, December 29, KAMI learned that the Viral Scandal star posted several photos she took with the kids she met on the island.

According to Maxene, the kids' energy were so pure that she instantly felt comfortable being around them.

On Instagram, Maxene revealed that she eventually bought tons of handmade accessories from them.

"I believe in soul connections more than blood relationships. These cute little souls went up to me yesterday and I immediately felt drawn to them. Their energy is so pure that I was able to feel so comfortable around them. I ended up buying some of the beautiful accessories that they handmade themselves because I wanted to support their art and creativity."

However, what the actress did not expect was that they would give her a freebie that she has been wanting to have a for a very long time—an anklet.

"To my surprise, they gave me an anklet as a freebie! I’ve been looking for an anklet for a while now ever since my old one broke. And now God finally gave me one. I am so grateful and just wanted to share this feeling with you all. Know that you are never alone. Have faith that God will guide you through this life and send the people that are meant to cross your path no matter what."
