In the said column published on Pilipino Star Ngayon, Nanay Cristy tackled on Angel’s alleged reaction to typhoon Odette’s onslaught.

According to the entertainment columnist’s source, the 36-year-old Kapamilya actress turned really emotional over the super typhoon’s aftermath.

“Sabi ng aming source, ‘Iyak nang iyak si Angel nang makita niya ang kinahinatnan ng mga binagyo. Totoo naman kasing parang tinamaan ng bomba ang mga lugar dahil halos wala nang naiwanan sa kanila.’”

On December 17, ABS-CBN reported that Angel arrived at the Leni Robredo-Kiko Pangilinan headquarters in Katipunan, Quezon City and joined a relief drive for the typhoon victims.

Meanwhile, President Rodrigo R. Duterte has declared a state of calamity in 'Odette'-hit areas, particularly Mimaropa (Region 4-B), Western Visayas (Region 6), Central Visayas (Region 7), Eastern Visayas (Region 8), Northern Mindanao (Region 10), and Caraga (Region 13).

In a report by Philippine News Agency, he signed Proclamation No. 1267 late Tuesday night upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

Angel Locsin is a famous actress and endorser in the Philippines, best known for her portrayal of the superhero Darna. The actress is now married to businessman and film producer Neil Arce. Aside from being a celebrity, Angel is vocal about her thoughts and opinions on current social and political issues in the country.
