Maxene Magalona took to her Instagram account to share that she and Jake Cuenca did not get along well the last time they worked together.
On Monday, November 15, KAMI learned that the 34-year-old actress penned a lengthy message to Jake, her co-actor in the Viral Scandal, online.
In her online post, Maxene began by introducing their characters—Mayor Troy Ramones and Audrey Versoza-Ramones who seem like the “ideal couple” on the show.

However, their picturesque and flawless image is just a façade since “their marriage is very complicated, cold and painful.”

Upon further reading her post, netizens were stunned when Maxene suddenly revealed that she and Jake did not get along back in the day.
“Working with @juancarloscuenca is an absolute pleasure and blessing. The last time we worked together was on a show 18 years ago where we played a young love team. We did NOT get along on the set. We were constantly arguing and bickering at each other. Kids.”
Despite their bickering 18 years ago, Maxene and Jake have been given the chance to work together once again.
“Fast forward to today, we were given the opportunity to cross paths and work together again. I am honestly in awe of how much Jake has grown and matured. His presence on the set is so magnetic and his performances are always compelling. He even goes out of his way to help his co-actors when we need it. I have to hand it to him—he is seriously one of the best and most professional actors I’ve ever worked with.”
Needless to say, Maxene’s post elicited a hilarious reaction from Alessandra De Rossi who wrote, “Tandang tanda ko!”
Meanwhile, Jake also reacted and left a funny comment on Maxene’s post as well, “Grabe naman. Sige nga sagot ko na yun susunod na pa-burger sa set.”
