During the virtual presscon of "I Left My Heart in Sorsogon," Paolo Contis was asked about the surge in popularity that he may be experiencing, particularly that it would seem all his actions are being watched and would easily trend on social media. A video by PEP Live was uploaded on YouTube that featured Paolo.

The actor admitted that he is "naninibago" to the sudden popularity and that if he would trend, he would want it because of his acting and if he gets bashed, it would still be because of his acting.
"As an actor, siyempre mas gusto natin na kung mag-trend ka dahil sa acting ko. Kung ma-bash ka dahil sa acting ko, di ba? Kasi, artista ako, e," said Paolo.

"Naniniwala ako na we shoud be judged by our profession. Kung mali akong umarte, bilang artista kung pangit ang acting ko, dun niyo ako madya-judge. Kung maganda, 'yon yung maganda. Kung nai-enjoy ko siya… hindi naman nai-enjoy. Pero naninibago ako to be honest," he said.
Paolo Contis is a Filipino actor and comedian. He is of Italian descent who appeared as a child actor in the ABS-CBN show "Ang TV." In 2004, he is currently an artist of GMA Network. He has also won several awards, specifically from PMPC Star Awards.
