Cristy Fermin aired her thoughts on the candidacy of Manny Pacquiao during the latest episode of "Cristy Ferminute" and said that he should be surrounded by people who really care for his candidacy and are not there to further their own interests.

She also said that she feels sorry for the senator because of the incident during one of his trips.

"Dapat po eh napapalibutan siya ng tao na hindi po personal na kapakanan ang iniisip kung hindi ang kanyang pagtatagumpay dito sa kanyang pakikipagbanggaan sa 2022 elections."

"Yun, yun dapat."

"Kaya lang naaawa ako sa kanya eh. ang daming tumututol. At siya ay masyadong dina-down, at pinapansin tungkol dun sa pagpapaagaw ng pera."

But Pacquiao said that he just wanted to help, and Nay Cristy understood it, and she eventually said that everyone should be proud of Pacquiao. She also wished him good luck.

"Ipinagmamalaki po natin si Senator Manny Pacquiao, ang Pamansang Kamao. Sana po ay huwag itong mauwi sa kawalan."

Manny Pacquiao is an eight-division world boxing champion, considered one of the greatest boxers in history. He also found success as a politician, first becoming a congressman before getting elected as a senator. Manny is married to Jinkee Pacquiao, whom he called his best friend.

Jinkee Pacquiao praised her mother-in-law in one of her most recent posts on social media. She particularly drew everyone's attention to the unparalleled love that Mommy D heaped on her son Sen. Manny Pacquiao. Jinkee then told Mommy D that she and her family loves her. Sen. Manny and Jinkee have been going around the country after the Pinoy boxing-legend-turned-legislator filed his Certificate of Candidacy for president.

She has just posted a cheery photo of her and Sen. Manny Pacquiao. In the snapshot, the two of them were both smiling while holding each other’s hands. It also seemed like the senator and presidential aspirant was delivering a message while the picture was taken. According to her earlier posts, Jinkee and her husband went to Cebu City to meet people in the area.
