Aiko Melendez, 45, has cried foul over the viral video of her tarpaulins being taken down by several people in Quezon City amid the campaign.

On Wednesday, November 3, KAMI learned that the Prima Donnas star uploaded a short clip of people removing her tarpaulins.

In her viral post, Aiko told the other candidates to fight fairly and to not follow certain orders that are against the law.

According to the 45-year-old-actress, how can a person be a good leader if they give and show a bad example to the people.

“Paano tayo magiging mabuting leader ng QC kung nagbibigay tayo ng masamang ehemplo sa mga tao po. Hindi yung kakaunti na nga lang po ang tarpaulins ko binabaklas niyo pa po. Na kusang nilalagay ng mga taong sumusuporta sa akin tinatanggal niyo pa po, dahil ba kayo ang nakaupo? Dahil kayo ang makapangyarihan sa barangay Kaligayahan? Dahil kayo ang asa administrasyon?”

On Instagram, Aiko aired her honest sentiments over the viral video, stating that people should fight fairly.

“Sana naman po lumaban po tayo ng patas po. Nakuhaan po namin ng video ang L300 na nagbabaklas utos daw ng kinauukulan. Sana lumaban po tayo ng patas. Kasi kandidato naman tayo pare parehas na gustong maglingkod at magpakita ng magandang ehemplo sa Quezon City… Sa mga ka-distrito ko na inuutusan ng mga may kapangyarihan sa posisyon para magtanggal ng tarpaulins ko, pag mali po ang utos wag sundin dahil labag po yan sa batas. Laban lang po parehas.”

Aiko Melendez is a popular showbiz personality in the Philippines. In 2018, she won the Best Supporting Actress award for the movie, “Rainbow’s Sunset.” In 2001, Aiko ran for councilor in the city elections in Quezon City and won. She became Councilor of the 2nd District of Quezon City and remained in office for 9 years until 2010.

As reported earlier by KAMI, Aiko Melendez shared her heartwarming interaction with an old lady named Nanay Dolores. She approached Nanay Dolores after her staff saw the old lady begging while sitting on the pavement.

Meanwhile, Aiko also recently took to social media to pen a sweet message to her “sister” Katrina Halili. In her viral post, Aiko called the Kapuso actress a “fighter” due to all the trials she faced. She also expressed admiration for Katrina for being an amazing mom to Katie.
