In the said post he shared on Tuesday night, the actor showed a photo of him recreating a huge sculpted head seen in a video taken by J-Hope of BTS.

To recall, the sculpture became trending on Twitter Philippines after Filipino netizens noticed its resemblance to Paolo.

In his caption, Paolo could not help agreeing to the netizens.

“Trending daw to kahapon, kaya chineck ko na din! May point naman sila!” he wrote.

Paolo Contis, is a Filipino actor and comedian of Italian descent who appeared in his acting debut as a child actor in the ABS-CBN show "Ang TV". He was born on March 14, 1984. Contis is half-Italian (from his father) and half-Filipino (from his mother). He was a popular child actor where he already appeared in various movies during the mid-1990s. Despite being cast in the popular teleserye Mara Clara, Contis was better known for being part of the kids-oriented program Ang TV and the primetime sitcom "Oki Doki Doc". He has won several awards, particularly at the PMPC Star Awards.

Paolo trended on Twitter after fans point out his resemblance to the sculpture taken by one of the members of the Korean boy band BTS, J-Hope. After only an hour of posting, the Pinoy actor immediately trended with more than 2,665 tweets from fans who named the head “Paolo Contis sculpture”. Information provided by Houston’s Museum of Fine Arts said that the sculpture, called “Mask II” is a self-portrait of artist Ron Mueck.

Earlier, Paolo's "A Faraway Land" co-star Yen Santos also returned to social media. On her IG Stories, the actress uploaded snapshots of her vacation with her friends. In one of the photos, it could be noticed that Yen cut her hair short and she now has lovely bangs.
