Jeric Raval, after a long hiatus from interviews, finally faced the camera during a promotion of his latest movie, Barumbadings, and was able to address the issue that hounds his daughter, AJ Raval, along with Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla.

In an exclusive interview by PikaPika, the actor expressed what he felt towards the issue.
He said that at times, he is in a quandary whether to speak out of not because he might not say the right things and it will just boomerang right back at him.
"Kung minsan po iniisip ko kung magsasalita pa ba ako d’yan o hindi na, e. Kasi baka mali lang masabi ko mag-boomerang lang sa akin... siguro mas maganda na lang po ’yong tahimik na lang po. Basta ang wish ko lang kina Aljur, e, sana maayos ’yong pamilya niya. Maayos sila mabuo pamilya nila," said Jeric.

He was then asked whether he and Robin Padilla were able to talk to each other about the matter.
"Hindi pa po. Hindi pa po. As much as possible, hindi naman namin napag-uusapan. S’yempre ’yong iba kung minsan pati pangalan ko nakakaladkad. Minsan hindi na maganda ’yong sinasabi sa akin. Pinababayaan ko na lang," he said.
With regards to Aljur courting AJ, Jeric said that he must straighten everything first. It can be recalled that AJ even apologized to Kylie, as per Inquirer's report.
The actor then explained that for as long as everything would be set properly, it would be fine.
"S’yempre, wala naman pong magulang na gusto ’yong anak niya, e, nasa awkward na situation o nasa alanganing kalagayan. S’yempre lahat naman po tayo, lalo na babae ’yong anak mo, gusto ninyo maayos ’yong kalagayan,
"S’yempre ’yon naman po ’yong sinabi ko. Sabi ko mismo doon sa lalaki, kailangan nasa ayos lahat. Sana naintindihan mo ako. Lalaki ka rin naman, may anak ka. ’Yon naman po ang sinabi ko."
AJ Raval is a Filipina actress. She is known for her daring roles in movies. She is the daughter of Jeric Raval and Alyssa Alvarez.
Meanwhile, Kylie Padilla, in an exclusive interview with Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, addressed her separation from Aljur Abrenica. Jessica Soho asked her about what AJ Raval did where she reposted the controversial "breaking silence" post of Aljur. Kylie said that she wanted to talk to AJ because she also went through the same phase where she was bashed when someone was courting her. She wanted to help AJ on how to handle it so that she could be ready.
Her mother, Liezl Sicangco, posted about her son-in-law, Aljur Abrenica, who is now dating actress AJ Raval. Liezl uploaded an edited picture from the wedding of Aljur and Kylie, with the latter’s head changed into AJ’s head. Kylie’s mom wants all the best in life for Aljur and AJ and expressed her wish that their romance will last forever. Robin Padilla’s former wife also revealed that Kylie is happy for Aljur and AJ and that she has moved on from their failed marriage.
