Joey celebrated his 80th birthday on October 14, marking the milestone with a celebration that his daughter described as much bigger and more beautiful than she initially imagined. The photos shared by Jocas were captured by Myio Okamoto and showed moments from the occasion as loved ones came together to honor the veteran entertainer.
In her message, Jocas recalled that at the beginning of the year, she never expected that the family would eventually hold such a grand celebration for her father’s milestone birthday.
She explained that the gathering actually came together through a relatively short period of preparation, with the plan beginning only about three months before the celebration. What started as an idea eventually developed into an occasion that exceeded what the family had originally imagined.

“At the beginning of this year, I never imagined we would be celebrating my dad’s 80th birthday in such a big and beautiful way. 🙏😍”
For Jocas, the celebration was defined not only by its scale but by the people who attended. She said the occasion was filled with love, laughter and “unbridled joy,” while emphasizing that having their family and friends present made the day particularly meaningful.
