For the occasion, Yasmine shared an emotional birthday message for her daughter, reflecting on the past 16 years and the profound impact Alexandra has had on her life.
Yasmine began by expressing disbelief at how quickly her daughter has grown, asking, “How are you already 16?” She looked back fondly on the days when Alexandra was still her little girl and celebrated the young woman she is becoming.
“Happy 16th Birthday to my firstborn, my eldest, my very first love,” Yasmine wrote, describing Alexandra as the child who made her experience motherhood for the first time.

She recalled that 16 years ago, Alexandra “made me a mommy for the very first time,” changing her life forever and introducing her to “a kind of love” she had never experienced before.
Yasmine also described Alexandra as her “right hand,” “little helper,” and someone she can always depend on. She praised her daughter as a smart, beautiful, and talented young woman whose heart is deeply attuned to other people.
“You’ve never given Mommy much to worry about,” Yasmine wrote, expressing gratitude for Alexandra’s character and for the love and care she continues to show her mother.
As the eldest among the siblings, Alexandra also has an important role within the family. Yasmine admitted that there are moments when her daughter gets irritated with her younger siblings, but she emphasized that Alexandra ultimately remains protective of them.
“Sometimes, mainit ang ulo mo with your siblings,” Yasmine wrote, while acknowledging that despite the teasing, arguments, and occasional frustrations, Alexandra will always have her siblings’ backs when it matters.
Yasmine said she takes pride in seeing Alexandra serve as her younger siblings’ “big sister,” protector, and someone they can depend on.
“You are my first baby, my first everything, and a part of my heart that will forever belong to you,” she wrote, adding that being Alexandra’s mother remains one of the greatest privileges of her life.
For her daughter’s next chapter, Yasmine offered a heartfelt prayer and a series of wishes. She hoped Alexandra would have the courage to pursue her dreams, confidence in herself, and the kindness to preserve the goodness in her heart.
She also wished her daughter happiness, genuine friendships, countless opportunities, and the love she deserves.
Yasmine further assured Alexandra that growing older would never change the place she holds in her mother’s heart.
“No matter how old you get or how far life takes you, Mommy will always be your protector, your safe place, and the one cheering for you through every chapter of your life,” she wrote.
She ended the tribute with another declaration of love, calling Alexandra her “panganay” and saying she will remain her “first baby” forever.
