In an Instagram post, the singer shared his admiration for the performer he had watched prepare for the shows. His message offered a husband’s perspective on the work that went into bringing the concert to the stage.

“Three days of music excellence. Three days of absolute vocal mastery,” he wrote.

Ogie explained that preparing for the performances had been difficult. Still, he said his wife remained determined to give her audience a memorable show.

“Through prayers and God's amazing grace, you showed up battle scarred but unscathed and relentless on your pursuit of delivering the task of performing.”

He then acknowledged the years of effort behind her career, describing a commitment that extended far beyond the three concert nights.

“40 years of grind. 40 years of toil. 40 years of giving everything and leaving it on that music stage.”

For Ogie, however, his admiration was about more than the quality of her voice. He also highlighted her ability to tell stories through music and her care for the people who support her.

“I dare declare that not only because of your rare gift of storytelling through that magical throat but also of your huge heart for your music fans,” he wrote.

He followed this with a simple statement about how she approaches performing: “You never ever think of yourself.”

The tribute ended with an affectionate invitation for his wife to acknowledge everything she had accomplished.
