Lovi Poe has opened up about why she and her husband, Monty Blencowe, have chosen not to show the face of their daughter, Sloane, on social media.

During her appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Wednesday, the actress was asked about her decision to keep her child’s identity private despite occasionally sharing glimpses of her life as a mother.

According to Lovi, the arrangement is something that works for their family at the moment. She pointed to privacy concerns and the way the internet operates as some of the reasons behind their decision.

“It’s what works for us at the moment. Maybe because of how the internet works and privacy,” Lovi explained.

The actress also made it clear that the decision may not necessarily remain permanent. She revealed that she and Monty have been discussing the possibility of eventually sharing Sloane’s face with the public.

Lovi acknowledged that there could come a time when she and her husband would want to share their daughter more openly, especially because Sloane is such an important part of their lives.

“It’s a discussion that me and my husband, we’re having that now because like eventually, it’ll be nice to share this beautiful treasure that we have. And maybe in the future,” she said.

For now, however, Lovi appears comfortable maintaining a boundary between her family’s private life and her public career. While she may share selected moments involving motherhood and family, she has opted not to make her daughter’s face part of her online presence.
