In a Facebook post, shared on Monday, August 24, the singer said he appreciates people who record highlights during concerts. He understands why audience members want to preserve their favorite moments and songs.
However, Ice drew a clear line between sharing brief clips and reproducing most or all of a paid production.
The OPM artist explained that purchasing a concert ticket allows a person to watch and enjoy the show. It does not give the concertgoer the right to record the entire production and distribute it through personal social media or YouTube accounts.

He repeated his point in Filipino, writing, “Hindi po dahil nakabili tayo ng ticket, atin na rin ang concert.”
The appeal came after videos from Sessionistas: The Playlist were uploaded online. The show was staged on Saturday, August 22, at The Theatre at Solaire.
According to the official concert page, the event brought together Ice, Sitti Navarro, Nyoy Volante, Kean Cipriano, Princess Velasco, and Juris. Aside from performing with the group, Ice also served as the concert’s director.
The singer noted that a live show is the result of the effort of many people, not only the performers seen onstage. Artists, musicians, composers, producers, publishers, and crew members all contribute to the production.
Ice explained that their collective work is protected. Uploading full songs or lengthy sections of the concert without permission is therefore different from simply sharing a personal experience.
Despite his firm appeal, the artist made it clear that fans may still post about the show. Photos, personal reactions, and short video clips remain welcome because they celebrate the performance without reproducing the production in full.
“Please don't upload the concert itself,” he urged.
The singer also directly addressed people who had already posted full performances from their shows. He asked them to remove the videos and reminded viewers that supporting music also means respecting the rights of those who created it.
Ice ended his message with a simple but firm appeal: “Support the music. Support the artists.”
