During her appearance on GMA’s Fast Talk With Boy Abunda on Monday, Chariz revealed that she had already received 50 percent of her talent fee from the show. According to the actress, the program’s management had finally released half of the amount owed to its hosts, as well as to some members of the staff and production team.

The development comes after the former noontime show ended its run in 2024, leaving workers and performers waiting for compensation for services they had already rendered.

Chariz explained that while the delayed payment had been difficult, she and her colleagues were not approaching the situation out of anger. Instead, their concern stemmed from a basic need for the salaries they had worked to earn.

She emphasized that the money was important to them and that receiving their compensation was a matter of necessity rather than simply frustration over an administrative delay.

Chariz also discussed the criticism that she and other members of the show continue to receive for accepting their positions on Tahanang Pinakamasaya. She said some people still question why they agreed to work on the program despite the circumstances surrounding its production.

For Chariz, however, the answer was straightforward: they needed employment.

The comedian explained that accepting the opportunity allowed them to continue working and earning a living. Their decision was therefore not simply about being part of a television program but also about having a source of income at a time when they needed one.

Chariz further acknowledged that working on the noontime show was not always easy. She and her colleagues became exhausted by the demands of the program, particularly because of the pace and pressure associated with producing a daily noontime television show.

Despite that exhaustion, however, Chariz said the experience was not entirely negative.

The actress recalled that there were also moments of genuine happiness while doing the program. The work could be tiring, but it also provided opportunities for camaraderie, entertainment, and meaningful experiences with the people she worked alongside.

Tahanang Pinakamasaya aired on GMA Network for several months in 2024 after taking over the timeslot previously occupied by Eat Bulaga. The program was produced by Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) Inc., the same company associated with the previous GMA noontime show.

The program ultimately concluded its run on March 7, 2024.

Earlier, Chariz Solomon spoke openly about the emotional difficulties she has experienced as a mother during her appearance on GMA’s Fast Talk With Boy Abunda. She discussed how mothers can end up handling some of the most demanding responsibilities and making difficult decisions while feeling that their own needs are frequently overlooked. Chariz recalled becoming so exhausted that she questioned who would care for her after she had spent so much time looking after her family and even their household helpers. Although motherhood can be draining, she said going to work also gives her happiness. She likewise remembered one emotional breakdown when she was extremely tired and was dealing with the discomfort caused by an adjustment to her braces.

In another report, Chariz Solomon gave a humorous response when asked about a hypothetical friend who borrowed money because of an alleged emergency but later shared vacation photos online. The comedian joked that she would confront the friend and “trash talk” the person over the questionable reason for borrowing money. Her lighthearted answer reflected her candid approach when discussing situations involving friendships, money, and questionable excuses.
