“And when that day comes, of course, I’d love to be able to have the energy to run around with my kids, you know, and to play with them and not just watch from the sidelines,” she added.
Bea’s comments come after she and Vincent entered a new chapter of their relationship by getting married in a civil ceremony in July. The wedding was officiated by Makati Mayor Nancy Binay.
The couple chose to keep the ceremony intimate, a decision that represented a notable departure from the intense public attention that has frequently surrounded major milestones in Bea’s personal life.
Rather than staging a highly publicized celebration, Bea and Vincent opted for a more private occasion centered on their relationship. The actress has previously explained that the decision was not about deliberately hiding the marriage but about wanting the moment to belong primarily to the two of them.
That approach has continued into their married life, with Bea previously revealing that she and Vincent have moved into their home together. She described herself as being extremely happy in this new stage of her life.
As they begin married life together, Bea’s latest comments offer a glimpse into what she hopes may come next. While she did not give a specific timeline for having children, she made it clear that building a family with Vincent is part of the future she envisions.
Bea Alonzo has established herself as one of the Philippines’ most respected actresses, gaining widespread acclaim through memorable television dramas including Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay, Maging Sino Ka Man, and A Love to Last. Her filmography likewise includes successful and well-known movies such as One More Chance and The Mistress. Celebrated for her versatility and ability to portray emotionally demanding roles, Bea has become one of her generation’s prominent performers. At the same time, her relationships and significant personal choices have consistently attracted public attention because of her status in Philippine entertainment.
In another development, Bea Alonzo reacted candidly after a 2021 vlog resurfaced online following her wedding to Vincent Co. The old video featured tarot card reader Niki Vizcarra, whose reading had predicted that Bea would eventually marry a partner through a civil ceremony. Bea admitted that she had forgotten about the episode until internet users brought the prediction back into the spotlight. She also explained that the green outfit she wore in the vlog was not meant as a personal fashion statement, noting that green had been identified as the color of the year for predictions at the time and that she rarely chooses the shade for herself.
As previously reported by KAMI, Bea Alonzo also explained her decision to keep her civil wedding with Vincent Co private and intimate. During an interview with GMA reporter Nelson Canlas on 24 Oras, the actress said the ceremony was never intended to be a secret. Instead, she simply felt that the moment should belong to her and Vincent without the involvement of outside attention. Bea also revealed that the newlyweds had already moved into their new home together. She described herself as being “on cloud nine” and said she was extremely happy in this new stage of her life, particularly because she and Vincent now wake up beside each other every day.
