Doug Kramer and Chesca Garcia opened up about their daughters Kendra and Scarlett having admirers, with the couple sharing how they handle attention directed toward their children.

During their interview on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Thursday, August 13, host Boy Abunda asked Chesca if Kendra already had someone courting her.
Chesca acknowledged that Kendra has several admirers but explained that her daughter remains focused on her studies and sports.
"She has a lot of admirers, but I don't feel like... She's so busy with, you know, her sports and her studies, and she's so focused on that. So parang kung meron man nag-a-admire, mga ganyan, hindi naman sila nakakadalaw sa kanya."

Doug then briefly made his stance clear about Kendra's admirers.
"Bawal!" the former PBA player stressed.
Chesca went on to reveal that some admirers have even reached out to Doug directly, including those who ask about taking Kendra out.
"At saka, pero may mga nagme-message kay Doug."
Doug shared some of the messages he has received from people expressing their intentions toward his daughter.
"Madami. 'Tito, alagaan ko 'yung anak mo.' Meron pa nagpadala sa akin ng e-vite, kasal nila next year. Oo, ganoon!"
Chesca added that some people would message Doug under the pretense of asking if they could take Kendra out, although she admitted that she appreciates their confidence.
"May nagme-message din kay Doug, kunwari tatanungin kung pwedeng i-take out si Kendra. But I have to give it to them."
Doug also mentioned the numerous invitations Kendra has received for school events.
"Pati mga prom. Never-ending prom invites."
According to Chesca, Scarlett has also started receiving similar attention, making Doug feel that the situation has now extended to both of their daughters.
"Ngayon kasama na si Scarlett doon. Si Doug talaga, 'Oh my gosh! First it's Kendra, ngayon silang dalawa na.' So, yeah."
Despite the attention their daughters receive, Chesca said she encourages Kendra and Scarlett to enjoy their youth and appreciate the admiration without feeling pressured to act on it.
"But, you know, I always tell Kendra and Scarlett, enjoy. Enjoy your youth. Enjoy, you know, the admiration. But you don't have to act upon it."
She also shared the advice she gives her daughters about distinguishing admiration from deeper feelings.
"Alam mo, sabi ko, 'Don't mistake an admiration for love right away.'"
