Zoren Legaspi opened up about a recent family gathering at the home of his niece Dani Barretto, admitting he was deeply moved after realizing how much the visit meant to her.

During his live interview on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Wednesday, August 12, host Boy Abunda brought up the social media post shared by Dani, describing the reunion as a seemingly healing moment for the family.

Zoren expressed his regret over delaying the visit, explaining that Dani had been extending the invitation to them for a long time. Zoren recalled how the spontaneous trip finally came together after some pushing from his family:

"Yeah. Matagal na kami ini-invite ni Dani sa place niya. Matagal niya nang ini-invite kami. And for some reason, na-neglect ko 'yung invitation na 'un. It's really my fault. And then one day, sabi ko, 'Hon, punta na nga tayo,' kasi si Maverick makulit din. Kasi we're always in Alabang 'pag may mga gatherings ng mga kaibigan, nandoon. And nandoon lang din naman 'yung bahay ni Dani, hindi kami nadadaan. And then, one day sabi ko, 'Let's just go.' So, 'eh 'yung kambal, mabilis 'yan eh. Sabi niya, 'Sige, ako na bahala. I-text ko si Dani.' 'Yun, tinext niya na."

Boy then asked, "And when you finally went, kasama mo si Mina, 'yung kambal, and your mom?"

Zoren confirmed the attendees and noted that a few other family members joined the get-together as well:

"Yeah, my mom, my sister-in-law, si Brando, and his wife. Yes."

When asked by Boy about the whereabouts of his brother Kier Legaspi, Zoren explained that Kier was occupied with a sporting event at the time:

"Nanonood ng match ni Alex (Eala)."

Boy followed up to clarify if Kier missed the gathering but was doing fine, to which Zoren briefly answered:

"Yeah, he's okay."

Reflecting on the heartwarming nature of the reunion, Boy shared how touching it was to see the family together.

Zoren admitted that he did not expect the visit to hold such heavy emotional weight for Dani until he saw her reaction online after they left:

"Yeah, but alam mo, Tito Boy, nagulat ako sa post niya. Because I didn't know it would mean that much to her. Ganoon ka-deep pala 'yung meaning nung pagpunta namin. I didn't know."
