Aira Bermudez has opened up about missing the SexBomb Girls’ recent show in Abu Dhabi, assuring fans that she is doing well despite her unexpected absence from the highly anticipated performance.

The SexBomb member took to social media to address questions and concerns from supporters who noticed that she was not with her fellow performers during the group’s Abu Dhabi show.
“Para sa lahat ng nagtatanong at nag-aalala kung bakit hindi ako nakasama sa aming Abu Dhabi show, buhay pa po ako! 😂💗” Aira wrote.
She explained that she had to fly back home to Adelaide because of an urgent personal matter. Because of the situation, she unfortunately could not remain with the group and take part in the performance.

Aira admitted that she was particularly disappointed because the Abu Dhabi show represented a significant achievement for the SexBomb Girls. The group performed at Etihad Arena, a major entertainment venue in Abu Dhabi, marking what Aira described as the first time a Filipino act had performed at the iconic arena.
“Sobrang nanghihinayang ako dahil napakalaking milestone nito para sa Sexbomb,” she said.
The performer also expressed how painful it was for her to miss the opportunity to share the stage with her fellow SexBomb members, whom she affectionately referred to as her “sisters.”
“Kaya masakit talaga na hindi ko nakasama ang mga sisters ko sa stage,” Aira added.
Despite missing the event, Aira made it clear that she does not consider her absence the end of her involvement with the group. She assured fans that she is already doing what she can to return and participate in future activities.
“Pero don’t worry, ginagawa ko na ang lahat para makabalik at makasama kayo sa mga susunod na ganap,” she said.
Aira ended her message on a playful and reassuring note, telling supporters, “Hindi pa ako tapos sa inyo! 😂”
She also expressed her gratitude to the people who reached out after noticing that she was not present at the Abu Dhabi performance.
“Thank you so much sa lahat ng nag-message, nag-alala, at umunawa. Mahal ko kayo! ❤️” she wrote.
For Aira, the group’s Abu Dhabi performance represented another important chapter in the SexBomb Girls’ continuing legacy. Although she could not physically be there, her message made clear that she remains connected to her fellow performers and hopes to join them again in future shows.
The SexBomb Girls are a well-known Filipino dance and performance group that originally gained prominence after being formed on the noontime program Eat Bulaga!, where they became part of the “Laban o Bawi” segment. Their lively and daring dance routines, along with popular songs such as “Spaghetti,” “Get Get Aww,” and “Bakit Papa,” helped make them one of the country’s most successful girl groups during their heyday. Their popularity eventually extended into music, movies and television, while several members, including Rochelle Pangilinan, Jopay Paguia and Sunshine Garcia, developed individual careers in acting and hosting after their involvement with the group.
Previously, the absence of Jopay Paguia from the SexBomb Girls’ much-anticipated “rAWnd 6” finale concert on April 30, 2026, caught the attention of fans. As questions and concern about her nonappearance spread online, Jopay’s management team issued an official statement to explain why she was not part of the event.
In another report, Aira Bermudez reflected on the meaning of leadership, stressing that it is not simply about receiving a paycheck but about the talent, effort and years of dedication developed through dancing. She also emphasized that the skills and respect she earned on the dance floor are things that nobody can take away from her. In the same post, she paid tribute to Rochelle Pangilinan, whom she called the “Queen Bomb” and credited for paving the way for the other members.
