Rep. Javier Miguel L. Benitez has filed House Resolution No. 1280 commending SB19 for the group's recent achievements in the Philippines and abroad.

The measure recognizes the P-pop group for being named tourism ambassadors by the Department of Tourism and for reaching new milestones at Lollapalooza 2026 and Major League Baseball in the United States, according to a Facebook post shared by Tanya G. News.
Benitez filed the resolution together with Reps. Nelson Legacion, Sarah Jane Elago, and Kathryn Joyce Gorriceta.
On July 26, the Department of Tourism officially named SB19 as the Philippines' newest tourism ambassadors. In their new role, Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin are expected to help promote the country's culture and destinations to their global audience.

The resolution also mentioned the group's earlier appointment as Youth and Sentro Rizal Ambassadors of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts in 2021.
Days after their latest tourism appointment, SB19 achieved another international milestone in Chicago.
On July 29, Josh Cullen threw the ceremonial first pitch before the Chicago White Sox game against the New York Yankees at Rate Field.
The resolution described the appearance as a first for a P-pop group on a standard MLB game night.
The following day, SB19 took the stage at Lollapalooza in Grant Park, Chicago. The group performed a 10-song set on the Allianz Stage, which included "DAM," "GENTO," and "MAPA."
According to the resolution, the five-member group became the first homegrown Filipino act to perform at the major music festival. Lollapalooza's official information page confirms that its 2026 edition ran from July 30 to August 2 at Grant Park.
The measure also highlighted Filipino influences in SB19's stage outfits. These reportedly included designs inspired by the Ayala Museum's "Gold of Ancestors" collection, Ifugao brass pendants, and indigenous embroidery patterns.
Benitez stressed how Filipino artists gaining international attention can also help open opportunities for other talents and industries.
"When our artists carry the country with them, they open doors no amount of promotion can buy," he said.
He also pointed to the importance of preparing the country's music and tourism industries for the growing international attention on Filipino artists.
