Kapuso actress and former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Charlie Fleming has expressed her support for former co-star James Graham following the latter's decision to come out as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

During the cast launch of Regal Entertainment's "Haunted Carnival," an official entry to the 2026 Metro Manila Film Festival, Charlie reflected on James' announcement. As reported by Manila Bulletin, she admitted that the news took her by surprise.
"I was actually really surprised because it wasn't something that I expected."

Although the announcement was unexpected for her, Charlie stressed that she respects James' decision and is happy to see her pursuing the life she has always wanted.
"But I'm really just supportive of her, whatever decision she makes. I'm really proud that she moved to the U.S. to study and that she's becoming the person she wants to become."
Charlie also praised James for openly sharing her identity despite the criticism that may come from others, saying she admired the courage it took to do so.
"And I'm just so proud that she has the courage to share that even to the world. You know how the world is cruel. The world is full of judgment, but she was able to show that side of herself and she wasn't scared of it."
She also shared that although they no longer communicate regularly, they remain on good terms. Charlie said they still follow each other on social media, like each other's posts, and have mutual friends who occasionally keep in touch with James.
"No, we do not communicate now, but we do have our circle of friends who still communicate with her from time to time. We still follow each other and like each other's posts, so we're okay."
Charlie's remarks underscored her continued admiration for James and her decision to live authentically. While they may no longer speak regularly, Charlie made it clear that she remains supportive and sincerely wishes her former co-star the best as she continues her journey.
