Heart Evangelista has reportedly been hospitalized after suffering from extreme exhaustion, according to updates shared by her longtime assistant, Resty Rosell.

Resty took to social media to post photos of the actress and fashion icon lying in a hospital bed while connected to medical equipment. Medical personnel were seen attending to Heart, while her mother, Cecilia Ongpauco, remained by her side throughout her confinement.

Along with the photos, Resty explained that Heart had pushed herself too hard because of her demanding work schedule.

“Sa sobrang hardworking ng batang ito, kailangan talaga umabot pa siya sa point na hindi na niya kaya before magpaconfine,” she wrote.

Resty also reminded Heart to take better care of herself and make time to rest despite her busy commitments.

“Health is wealth, Ganda, sana naisip mo ‘yan, rest-rest din kapag may time. Tapos itong mga lintek na bashers na ‘to kung husgahan ka grabe, hindi nila alam kung gaano ka kasipag para kumita lang ng pera.”

The assistant later provided another encouraging update about the actress’s condition, assuring supporters that Heart had already begun recovering.

“Road to full recovery and she’s awake na from sedation… Nakakalakad na siya now ng straight pero need pa din ng support.”
