While the vertical micro-drama was initially produced for audiences in mainland China, it unexpectedly gained a huge following in the Philippines. The character became widely popular among Filipino viewers on social media, with many praising Linda’s intelligence, strategic thinking, and memorable scenes throughout the series.

According to reports, Yingfei has arrived in the Philippines as part of an education-focused campaign, further exciting Filipino fans who have followed her work through the viral drama.

On Monday, June 8, Dasuri took to social media to share a video featuring herself and Yingfei. In the clip, the two could be seen dancing together to Vice Ganda’s version of “Whoops Kirri,” a song originally performed by the Filipino band Fruitcake.

Along with the video, Dasuri shared her admiration for Yingfei’s quick learning ability. In the caption, she wrote:

Dasuri Choi (born Choi Da-seul on April 25 or 28, 1988) is a South Korean dancer, entertainer, and content creator who has built a significant following in the Philippines. She first gained widespread recognition after competing in the "You're My Foreignay" segment of Eat Bulaga!, where she won Best in Talent and finished as the second runner-up. Before becoming a television personality in the Philippines, she was a member of dance groups such as Hong Yeong-ju, Step-Up, and Yama & Hotchicks in South Korea. She later transitioned into hosting and content creation, serving as a co-host on programs such as Day Off and as one of the hosts of the variety show Tahanang Pinakamasaya.

In a previous report, Dasuri opened up about several unfortunate incidents during her Europe trip, including losing luggage and having her BPI and GCash accounts hacked.
