According to Arci, the relationship held a special place in her heart because she considered Badi to be something close to her “first love.”

“It’s kind of like my first love,” the actress shared during the interview.

She recalled how she was around 26 years old at the time and was beginning to think more seriously about relationships and the future.

“That time I was like 26 so sabi ko I want to follow how my parents did it–– that’s the only right way for me,” she said.

However, Arci admitted that despite wanting love and stability, she was not emotionally ready yet for the responsibilities that came with starting a family.

“Siyempre, when I was 26, I wasn’t ready. Though at that time, he wanted to have a family, but ako no, not yet, wala pa sa utak ko yun,” she explained.

The actress then revealed just how deeply she loved the musician, saying he was the only man she had ever been willing to sacrifice everything for.

“I can say he’s the only one na parang I was ready to give up everything. He was the only person na naging karelasyon ko na I’m willing to give up everything,” Arci confessed.

Despite the strong connection they shared, the actress admitted that fate ultimately had different plans for them.

“Kaya lang, hindi talaga, we’re really not meant to,” she added.
