Kapuso actor and former “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” housemate Will Ashley used his platform to encourage Filipinos to participate in the democratic process as voter registration for the elections officially came to a close.

On Monday, May 18, Will took to X to share a heartfelt and politically charged message urging the public to register before the deadline.

At the beginning of his post, the Kapuso actor expressed frustration and sadness over the current situation in the country, writing, “Nakakalungkot at nakakagalit ang mga nangyayari.”

He then emphasized unity and the shared responsibility of Filipinos in choosing leaders who genuinely care for the nation and its people. According to Will, everyone should work together toward a common goal for the country’s future.

“Iisa ang ating layunin para sa ating bansa. Huling araw para maging rehistrado. Sabay sabay po tayong pumili ng nararapat para sa ikabubuti at tunay na may malasakit sa atin at sa ating bansa.”

Will also encouraged people who are already aware and informed about social issues to remain vigilant and continue participating in nation-building through voting.

In the latter part of his message, he stressed that the right to vote is a fundamental right that should be exercised by every eligible Filipino citizen.

“Sa mga mulat, hindi na muling pipikit. Mag pa rehistro na, karapatan natin to! LAST DAY TO REGISTER 2026”
