Elijah Canlas took to social media to encourage Filipinos, particularly the youth, to become more politically aware and exercise their right to vote amid the growing controversies and tensions surrounding the country’s political climate.

On X, Elijah shared a strong message emphasizing that choosing to remain apolitical is not something people should take pride in.
“Being apolitical is not the flex you think it is. That’s why I urge everyone — especially the youth to REGISTER TO VOTE,” the actor wrote.
He further emphasized the importance of participation in democracy, reminding Filipinos that voting is not only a right but also a responsibility. He urged unregistered Filipinos to register before the deadline.

“Makapangyarihan ang bawat isa. Maliban sa pagiging karapatan, ito rin ay ating responsibilidad.
Hanggang May 18 nalang! Para sa pagbabagong ating hangad,” Elijah added.
