Her Instagram Story post shows a vibrant pink background adorned with various carnival-themed graphics, including a Ferris wheel at the top, a traditional red-and-white striped circus tent in the center, and a laughing clown face on the side. The story is further decorated with small illustrations of a performing monkey juggling balls and a large circus elephant carrying a trainer.
In her caption, she directly questioned why the upper chamber of the Philippine legislature had transformed into a massive spectacle. Writing in Tagalog, she asked the question, “Ano nangyare? Bakit ang Senado ay naging malaking???”
To further emphasize her point and heighten the critical tone of the post, Pokwang added background music to the post. She selected the pop track “Circus” by American singer Britney Spears.
