Bea Millan-Windorski’s triumph follows an already successful history in the international pageant circuit. Bea previously held the title of Miss Earth USA 2024 and finished as the second runner-up at the Miss Earth 2024 pageant. During the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 finals, Bea stood out among the top contenders in both the swimsuit and evening gown segments. She eventually clinched the top award after delivering a strong performance in the crucial question-and-answer round, where she spoke eloquently about her heritage and earned the admiration of the judging panel.
In a related report, Ralph de Leon drew attention online after a microphone malfunction disrupted his hosting duties at Miss Universe Philippines 2026. Despite the technical issue while introducing Ahtisa Manalo’s final walk, he stayed poised throughout the segment. Audience footage later showed it was caused by a defective mic. He later shared a humorous post on social media, playfully referencing what happened onstage.
Previously, Miss Universe Philippines 2025 Ahtisa Manalo opened up about her journey with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) to advocate for women’s health awareness. Diagnosed at 21, she admitted she initially dismissed her symptoms because of stigma around reproductive health. She also noted the career challenges brought by weight fluctuations caused by the condition. Manalo aimed to use her platform to normalize discussions on PCOS and help Filipinas feel less stigma.
