Filipino content creator and performer DJ Loonyo moved netizens with an emotional tribute dedicated to his son Legacy, who recently celebrated his first birthday.

Alongside a series of heartwarming family photos with his partner Amari and their child, DJ Loonyo reflected on his journey into fatherhood, sharing how the past year has transformed his life in unexpected and meaningful ways.

He began by marking the milestone of his son’s first year, expressing gratitude for the joy and inspiration Legacy has brought into their lives:

The dancer then addressed his son directly, writing a message that Legacy could read in the future, describing how his arrival brought clarity and direction during a time when he and his partner were still figuring things out:

“Legacy, anak… this is Papap.

Basahin mo to one day.

Thank you for coming into our lives ni Mamap.

Dumating ka sa panahon na akala namin, we were just moving forward and trying to figure things out.

Pero anak, ikaw pala yung magiging dahilan kung bakit mas naging malinaw ang lahat.”

DJ Loonyo went on to describe his son as a source of strength and motivation, crediting him for the positive changes and blessings that followed:

“Ikaw yung naging baterya ko.

Over the years, he has built a strong online following and was also previously linked to actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi.

In a previous report, DJ Loonyo made headlines after gifting his mother a new home and encouraging her to retire from her job as a midwife. He also helped set up a business for her—a lechon chicken store—which became an instant success. With the help of his older brother managing the venture, the family reportedly sold around 250 whole chickens during the soft opening, marking a promising start for their new livelihood.
